In June 2021, GUILD released the "GUILD Pearl Identification and Grading Standards" and the "GUILD Pearl Testing Report," focusing on the research, identification, and education of all categories and color ranges of pearls. These efforts have contributed to the establishment of a standardized system in the pearl market. GUILD has successively introduced trade names to enhance market understanding of various pearl categories, continuously refining its standards in line with market developments. As such, GUILD is both a direct participant and a witness to the golden age of the pearl market.

In June 2020, the GUILD (Guangzhou) Gem Laboratory was established. Guangzhou is a global center for jewelry processing and design, and it is also the city in China that was the first to come into contact with and accept colored gemstones. The coordinated operation between GUILD Shenzhen and GUILD Guangzhou not only continuously provides efficient testing services for the two locations, but also represents a crucial step for GUILD to further refine its colored gemstone standard system and delve deeper into the Chinese market.

In May 2020, the GUILD Gem Laboratory released the English international academic journal Frontiers of Gemmology, whose content covers all aspects of gemstones from the mining areas, laboratories to the market, embodying the observations of the GUILD gemmologist team on the entire industrial chain of colored gemstones. Also in May, the GUILD Gem Laboratory introduced the "Santa Maria" color evaluation standard for aquamarines, which has become a byword for high-quality aquamarines.

In December 2019, the GUILD Gem Laboratory (Shenzhen) obtained the certification of the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and the certification of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC-MRA).

In November 2019, the GUILD Gem Laboratory released the "Spinel Identification and Grading Standard" and was the first in the world to introduce the commercial term "Jedi Spinel".

In May 2019, the GUILD (Bangkok) Gem Laboratory was officially established.
